Crohn’s In Childhood Research Association lead research into better treatments, to support children and families with relevant information and advice as well as working with health professionals to improve care, and to give children a voice to increase public understanding of Crohn’s and colitis. You can contact them with any query, question or concern or to ask for more information about IBD and the ways they can support you. They have a family support worker who can provide practical and emotional support for parents, carers and young people with IBD. Laura the family support worker is also available to talk Monday and Thursday evening 7-9pm each week On the website is a range of leaflets, booklets and fact sheets on Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). For young people they offer support cards to help young people explain what they need to those that want to help them.
