South Shropshire Play Therapy services are based in Cleobury Mortimer. Play therapy is a non directive form of therapy which allows children (roughly between the ages of 3 and 11) to explore, through the safety of play, social and emotional challenges they are experiencing. Children are able to communicate through their play in a safe therapeutic relationship allowing them to heal past traumatic experiences and to help alter false perspectives of themselves. South Shropshire Play Therapy is able to work with individual children and families to help change attitudes and heal wounds. Jan is an accredited BAPT Play Therapist.
