Next running: Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th May 2025 9am – 4pm.Educating Kids Outdoors is a specialist outdoor learning provider delivering fun outdoor experiences for children in their school settings, local woodlands areas and during the school holidays. Based at Weston Park, we have our own dedicated EKO Outdoor Learning Site and Shelter as well as use of the extensive grounds of Weston Park. No two days are ever the same but follow a similar format. Generally a carousel of guided activities in the morning and more free flow in the afternoons. The sessions offer freedom to explore, discover and experience new ideas & challenges independently. On Thursday’s we welcome Steve Guy aka the Hungry Guy to EKO. Steve provides new opportunities for the children to prepare, cook and eat delicious foods. Please note that Thursday afternoons are less free flow than normal and might not suit some SEND children as there is more time spent indoors. Educating Kids Outdoors (EKO) is all about children getting outdoors having fun with friends, learning new skills, imbedding previous learning, working things out for themselves and discovering their natural world, and the important role they have in protecting it, are all important factors. EKO also offer bespoke outdoor parties on request from 1st May to 1st November. The holiday club is open to children in Years 1 – 8 of school.
