The Malcolm Saville Society aims to celebrate the life and work of children’s author Malcolm Saville, who set many of his stories against a Shropshire background. He is best known for adventure stories which involved The Lone Pine Club, a group of children who formed a secret society in Shropshire during the war years. The Society is aimed at all age groups and has regular meetings and activities in Shropshire and across the UK.
