Shropshire Libraries offer ‘behind the scenes’ tours of Shrewsbury Library – one of the town’s most historic buildings – previously Shrewsbury School until 1882, and then Grade I & II listed home to Shrewsbury’s public library since 1885. Tours are available from April to August, usually on the last Saturday of each month, from 10am to 11am, and finish with tea and cake in the Hobbs Room. There is a small charge per person. Building tours are also usually available for Heritage Weekend (booking essential). For more information, please contact the Library using the details shown. Dates for 2025: Monthly tours of Shrewsbury Library have now finished for 2024. Dates for spring and summer 2025 will be available from the Library early next year. https://www.facebook.com/ShrewsLibraryUK Information about Shrewsbury Library. https://shropshire-cd.directory-platform.com/kb5/shropshire/cd/view.page?record=xo7Chs0gSwQ Information about events at Shrewsbury Library. https://shropshire-cd.directory-platform.com/kb5/shropshire/cd/results.page?qt=shrewsbury+library&loc=SY1+2AS&sorttype=distance Information about Shropshire Libraries. https://next.shropshire.gov.uk/libraries/ We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
