ShrewsAbility is the STFC Foundation’s specialised disability provision, catering for a wide range of disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Austism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Development Co-Ordination Disorders, Motor co-ordination difficulties, and many more. All sessions are fully inclusive to all and can be adapted to suit individual needs. The sessions are based around having fun and creating the best possible experience for participants. STFC Foundation offer sessions for adult groups, and also for children and young people from age 5 upwards. They have individual groups which allow them to offer what best suits the individual participant. These sessions take place at the Shrewsbury Town Football Club 5-a-side pitches (formerly the Powerleague), each Wednesday evening, with different session times available depending on the age group and ability, at a nominal cost of £3 per person.
