The Peter Le Marchant Trust offers day trips and accessible canal boat holidays along regional waterways. They have a fleet of accessible and disabled friendly boats and can cater for a broad audience of passengers. All of whom gain the proven wellbeing benefits of using there services. Welcoming over 5,000 passengers a year, their aim is to provide a positive and enriching experience aboard their boats; to allow the joy and tranquility of the waterways to be accessible to all regardless of financial, physical and social constraints. People stepping aboard the boats are able to step away from their lives for a while and take in the simple joy of nature and unique calmness that being on the water brings. Instead of narrow boats, they operate Serenade and Symphony; two broad-beam boats for their day trips. With these being 4 feet wider than narrow-boats they offer more comfort and facilities to passengers. They are specially adapted and are accessible to all, including hydraulic lifts for wheelchair users and take up to 26 passengers. They also have a self-hire narrow-boat, Jubilee, which has also been built to allow wheelchair users to take advantage of a holiday on the waterways. https://www.facebook.com/peterlemarchanttrust SEND Local Offer Web Link http://new.shropshire.gov.uk/the-send-local-offer/ Peter Le Marchant Trust – Volunteer https://www.peterlemarchanttrust.co.uk/volunteer Peter Le Marchant Trust – Bookings https://www.peterlemarchanttrust.co.uk/make-a-booking £12-£20 per person for day trips.
