The Qube’s Befriending Services aim to help people in Oswestry and the surrounding villages who are lonely and isolated. Their team of friendly volunteers offer: Befriending Group – face-to-face meetings in smaller groups, usually with about 4 or 5 people, where we arrange to meet up for a coffee and chat. The purpose of this group is to offer people the opportunity to socialise and make new friends in a more intimate setting. Telephone Befriending – service for people who may find it difficult to get out and about, to enable them to enjoy chatting with someone over the phone, from the comfort of their home.
