The Drum Coach offers West African drumming workshops for adults and young people aged 14+ in Church Stretton. You will learn how to hit the drum to bring out the right sound, plus core West African rhythms, starting with the easier, more accessible ones, and building up to more complicated patterns. Workshops are held at the Silvester Horne Institute on alternate Wednesdays, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. Pop along for a free taster session for the first 15 minutes, to try your hand at drumming.
