Hands Together Ludlow offer a short-term emergency dog walking service for people who are temporarily unable to exercise their dogs. This support is aimed at people who are: temporarily unable to do this themselves, due to limited mobility whilst recovering from an injury or operation, or due to illness; unable to source help through other routes, including dog walking businesses, friends and neighbours. Hands Together Ludlow volunteers can usually help fill a couple of slots on a rota which is mostly filled by friends and family. This service can only be provided for dogs that are insured by their owners, and where owners accept that full liability for their pet remains with them. Owners will need to provide a lead, dog mess bags, and confirm any dog being exercised is well behaved and trained to walk on the lead.
