PODS Befriending Scheme is a network of trained parent volunteers who support other parents of children with special needs, providing emotional support for parents and carers at the time of diagnosis or when life becomes challenging due to issues connected to their child’s disability. They support parents of children with any type of disability or special need. Every Befriender is someone whose own child has special needs. This service is free and confidential for parent carers living in the Telford and Wrekin area.
