Cerebra is a unique charity set up to help improve the lives of children with brain related conditions from birth to 16 years. The term ‘brain condition’ describes any disorder or disability that affects the brain, including those caused by illness, genetics or traumatic injury. Brain conditions include (but are not limited to) autism, ADHD, Down’s syndrome, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and developmental delay. Their sleep service aims to support you by offering advice, guidance, and information relating to sleep difficulties. What they do: They have a team of sleep practitioners covering parts of the UK who can offer help and advice on sleep issues, some of which include settling problems, difficulty sleeping alone and early rising. If it is possible, a sleep practitioner will come out and visit you, or you will be invited to attend a local sleep clinic. If this is not possible, support will be given over the phone or sometimes via e-mail or by post. In order for them to determine the cause/reason for the sleep problems your child is experiencing, please fill in the Sleep Referral Form on their website. They will then send out a sleep pack for you to fill in which includes a sleep questionnaire and diary. If you just have a question/query, then you can contact there sleep assistant on 01267 244210 or e-mail us at sleep@cerebra.org.uk and the team will respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. https://www.facebook.com/CerebraCharity/ https://www.instagram.com/cerebracharity/ Referral Required?
