Starlight Children’s Foundation brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting their wishes and providing hospital entertainment to help take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation of their illness. Anyone can refer a child to Starlight for a wish – parents, grandparents, medical professionals, friends, social workers. You just have to complete the online wish referral form. They aim to create a truly magical experience for the child and his or her family, exceeding all expectations and creating precious, unforgettable memories to share, laugh and smile about. All Starlight’s activities are aimed at distracting children from the pain, fear and isolation they can often feel as a result of their illnesses. Together with healthcare professionals, they have developed a programme of year-round entertainment and distraction which helps over 500,000 children every year who are hospitalised for whatever reason. Our users say: “Often treatment of cancer or other serious illnesses in children involves unpleasant and painful procedures; it is very difficult to make a child happy at this time. This is what Starlight does best in hospitals and hospices all over the country.” We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
