Much Wenlock Male Voice Choir sing for pleasure, being mainly non-competitive. As a registered charity, they also help to raise funds for charities and good causes. Formed in 1968, the Choir have travelled widely throughout the UK and abroad, and have a varied programme singing songs from operas and shows, spirituals, popular and modern music. The choir has a membership of 40 choristers and has previously released three recordings. The Choir rehearses at the William Brookes School on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, during term time, and new members are always welcome.
