The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) is an alliance of public, private, voluntary and community organisations in England who aim to reduce suicide and support those affected by suicide. With more than 4,000 people dying by suicide each year in England, suicide continues to be a major public health issue, and can have a devastating effect on families and communities. The NSPA website provides information about some of the organisations who can offer support to those affected by suicide. The NSPA aims to facilitate the development and sharing of good practice by encouraging all parts of society to work together to reduce suicide and improve the support for those bereaved by suicide.
