Engaging Isssues is a forum for anyone who wants to consider significant social and ethical issues of our day, which aims to provide an open, inclusive, questioning assembly, where members can speak their minds freely and respectfully. Engaging Issues host around 9 events per year from October to February, meeting at The United Reform Church on alternate Tuesday evenings, usually between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, and bringing in expert speakers on subjects relevant to today, such as science, religion, culture and society. They ask for a donation of £3 per talk, to support their programme of talks.
