Sandy Lane Park is situated upon the banks of the River Dee, approximately 2.5 miles east of Chester city centre and includes Sandy Lane Aqua Park and the adjacent play area which looks across the River Dee to the Meadows. The park has beautiful views of the local area, which provides a stimulating play environment and the Aqua Park/Water Park includes a 10 feature spray facility close to a grassed picnic area.The Aqua Park and toilets are only open during the summer season (May – September), between 11am – 5pm. Please note that there may be a possibility that the Aqua Park may need to close for an hour to undertake maintenance, this is likely to be sometime between 1pm – 3pm.Facilities and attendance An attendant is available to ensure that the toilets and the park are kept clean.Directions Sandy Lane Park is located off Sandy Lane, Chester CH3 5UL. There is vehicular access off Sandy Lane into a surfaced car park for about 40 cars.
