Condover College is a independent specialist college and residential care provider in the heart of Shropshire. Their programmes support learners aged 18+ who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning difficulties and additional complex needs. Condover College started with just their educational centre and three residential schemes, we now they have 15 residential schemes, Short Breaks at their Greenfields scheme and an Opportunities Programme which enables learners to fulfil their greatest aspirations. Education: Education at Condover College’s The Grafton Centre, offers a holistic student-centred curriculum focusing on independence, functional skills and more. They are dedicated to making sure all their learners reach their potential. Care: Condover College’s small residential homes are nestled in communities in and around Shrewsbury. Residents receive the highest standards of care and support regardless of whether they are with us on a short break or a 52-week placement. Opportunities: The Opportunities Programme, offers a range of fun activities out in the community or at their main site, Longbow House in Shrewsbury. Whatever your dreams, aspirations or interests, they will support you to achieve them! Activities including cooking, swimming, cycling, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, sensory provision, computers, shopping, crafts, activities of daily living, dancing, music, laughing yoga, and much more! Short Breaks (Respite Care): For those looking for short-term accommodation, they offer Short Breaks at their Greenfields scheme in Bings Heath. This six-bed dormer bungalow with a large garden offers the perfect home-from-home for short stays. Residents living with us on a Short Break basis typically stay for all or part of a week (Friday–Monday or Monday–Friday, for example), but they’re happy to accommodate longer stays if necessary. They usually schedule Short Breaks four months in advance.
