Minsterley Show is an agricultural show that was first held in 1875, by the newly formed Minsterley & District Horticultural & Athletic Sport Society. The Show usually takes place each year on the third Saturday in August. The show ground is situated 5 miles South West of Shrewsbury on the A488, Shrewsbury to Bishops Castle Road, and complimentary car parking ia available onsite. Alternatively, there is a complimentary bus service at regular times throughout the day from Minsterley (via Pontesbury), and from Hanwood (Caradoc View and Hanwood Village) to the Show and then back again.
