The Family Holiday Charity is the only national charity dedicated to providing British seaside breaks and day trips for families struggling. The majority of families they help have never been away before. Families must be referred by someone who knows their circumstances in a professional capacity e.g. a social worker, health visitor, or support worker. The criteria for grants are as follows: The family is on a low income. The family has not been on holiday for the past four years.
