Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery offers visitors the opportunity to journey through the history and heritage of this medieval town and Shropshire. It offers five interesting galleries to explore: Roman gallery, Shropshire gallery, Medieval gallery, Tudor and Stuart gallery, and the Special Exhibitions gallery, and admission is free of charge. The Museum and Art Gallery is home to the town’s Visitor Information Centre, the Museum shop and café, and can offer room hire for meetings, events, and functions at the Museum, which is also a licensed wedding venue. If required, the Museum is also able to arrange a quiet visit when the museum is not open to the public (although this may incur a small charge). Please contact the Museum via email to discuss arranging a private visit. In addition, there is a volunteering programme for anyone interested in helping with the care and documentation of some collections. For more information, including details of opening times and forthcoming exhibitions, please follow the link to visit their website, or contact using the details provided. #MuseumList We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
