Lydbury North Parish Council serves the communities of Lydbury North, Acton, Brockton, Eyton, Plowden, and Walcot together with the surrounding areas. It serves a population of 695 people (national census 2011) in one of the largest parishes in England covering 3994 hectares, much of it within the ‘Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and at its heart lies the village of Lydbury North. The Parish Council meets at Lydbury North Village Hall, on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm (except of August and December), and a list of meeting dates can be found on their website.
