Ludlow u3a (University of the Third Age) is a registered charity that promotes active learning among members of the community not in full time employment. Members meet at Ludlow Assembly Rooms on the last Monday morning of each month (with a break during the summer and in December), and it is a lively, self-motivating branch offering social, recreational, academic and practical activities for people not in full time employment. A major feature of Ludlow u3a is the large number of Study Groups, which are open to members free of charge (although there may be some costs for materials, etc). These groups normally meet once or twice a month, usually in members’ homes, but sometimes in a meeting room. There is no limit to the number of groups members can join.
