Knighton Museum is a charity run entirely by volunteers, displaying exhibits exploring the social history of the border town. Most items have been either donated or lent by local people, to help illustrate the varied history of the town from the drovers to the flannel weavers, and from trade to agriculture. Many exhibits may be handled by visitors making the whole experience both dementia-friendly and child-friendly. The Museum is open from April to October, Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm and also on Sundays from 11am to 3pm. Entry is free of charge, but as the charity relies on donations, these are always very welcome. The Museum can also be available to groups, clubs, etc, by arrangement.
