Welcome to Bishop Hooper C of E Primary School. We are located in the rural village of Ashford Carbonel in Shropshire, surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside. We pride ourselves on our caring ethos and aim to create a stimulating and attractive learning environment, encouraging independence, self-confidence, tolerance, respect and a sense of responsibility amongst our pupils. As a Church of England school the education offered is provided within a Christian framework. Bishop Hooper Primary School offers a variety of different after-school clubs. Currently there isn’t enough demand to offer a breakfast club. Bishop Hooper Primary School offers an on-site day nursery, Butterflies Nursery and Pre-school. We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Pre-School, catering for children from two years to School age. Bishop Hooper Butterflies provides an environment for young children to flourish, develop and learn, each at their own pace, based upon their own interests and desires. Our team is made up of extremely friendly and supportive staff. We are all well-qualified, experienced and are passionate about providing an enriching and fun learning environment for each child. We strive to encourage children to reach their full potential at this important stage of life; the Early Years. We are very experienced in caring for children with special needs and encourage inclusion. Butterflies is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm (term time only). Session Times are 9am to 11.45am and 12.30pm to 3pm. Lunch Club is available from 11.45am to 12.30pm. The Fees are: Morning session: 9:00-11:45am = £15.13 (£5.50 per hour). Lunch club: 11:45-12:30pm = £4.13 (£5.50 per hour). Afternoon session: 12:30-3:00pm = £13.75 (£5.50 per hour).
