The UK Safer Internet Centre delivers a wide range of activities to promote the safe and responsible use of technology: founded and operates an award-winning e-safety helpline for professionals working with children in the UK – the Professionals Online Safety Helpline operates the UK’s hotline for reporting online criminal content – the Internet Watch Foundation coordinates Safer Internet Day in the UK, which reaches millions every year develops new educational and awareness raising resources for children, parents and carers and teachers develops self-assessment tools for schools and other settings to evaluate their esafety provision, including policy development.
