We are a term time only setting. The Setting operates from one main room, where children 2 years to 4 years 11 months interact. This means the older children have responsibility and role model good behaviour to younger children, who learn from them. The environment is warm and welcoming, as are the practitioners who have a wealth of experience. The staff team consists of 6 practitioners who are all enthusiastic, motivated and have a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the learning and development of young children. The setting embraces families and carers; encouraging them to take ownership of the setting and their child’s experiences here. Free-flow play between indoor and outdoor environments enables children to flourish and develop in a space most suited to their individual needs. Local offer for families of children with special educational needs and/or disabilitites: Little Acorns aims to provided support and inclusivity for all children. Children with special educational need and disabilities are support by a caring staff team. Offering them the same opportunities as others. Support from our dedicated SENCO for both children and their families.
