The Craven Arms Community Garden was developed in 2000 with funding from the National Lottery and the Millennium Commission under the auspices of Grow Cook Share – now Grow Cook Learn. The Community Garden comprises some 60 micro-allotments and these plots are available to members of the local community for an annual rent from £5 per plot depending on size; accompanied by a commitment to attend monthly “Tidy Weekends” on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month for two hours contribution to maintenance of the communal areas.
