The Drum Coach offers West African drumming workshops for adults and young people aged 14-plus in Ludlow. You will learn how to hit the drum to bring out the right sound, plus core West African rhythms, starting with the easier, more accessible ones, and building up to more complicated patterns. Workshops are held at St Peter’s Church Centre on alternate Fridays, from 12noon to 1pm. Pop along for a free taster session for the first 15 minutes, to try your hand at drumming. To continue, there is a charge of £8, to include drum hire of £1, and booking is essential.
