Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery present four Inspiration on Subscription boxes. The wooden boxes were locally crafted and house a variety of sensory items inspired by four pieces from the museum collection. Groups and individuals are invited to borrow the boxes for up to four weeks. Groups and individuals take inspiration from the contents of the boxes, to enjoy various self-determined activities; this may be cooking a meal, a visual art activity, a poem, a conversation or a walk. This project is a new, varied, and fun way to access the museum collection. Loaning the Inspiration on Subscription boxes is the latest way to bring the museum to you and your group. Any group is welcome to borrow an Inspiration on Subscription box. You may be a visual arts group, a youth group, health group, history group, book group, knitting group or schools and college for example. All are welcome to engage and be stimulated by these new loan boxes. For more information, please contact the education department at the Museum.
