Bridgnorth and District Historical Society offers a programme of lectures (for those over 16 years of age). The Society meets at Bridgnorth Community Hall on the third Monday of each month, at 7.30pm (October to March inclusive). They also organise trips to places of historical interest from May to September. An annual subscription costs £15, but visitors are always welcome to attend, at a charge of £5 per lecture. Members of the Bridgnorth and District Historical Society also run the Bridgnorth Northgate Museum on behalf of the town for both the residents and visitors.
