Caritas offers a free well being support service, providing help with emotional support, parenting advice, budgeting and mental health.They offer a drop in service at the Roy Fletcher Centre in Shrewsbury on Tuesday 9.30am – 11.30am, and on Thursday’s during term time a community drop in group between 10am and 12pm. Caritas is the new social action and social justice agency of the Diocese of Shrewsbury which seeks to develop the Church’s social mission in the years ahead. Encompassing the work of the former Catholic Children’s Society, and with invaluable support from the diocesan-wide ‘Our Mission Together’ initiative, their portfolio has been extended to include:intergenerational work;young people at the risk of becoming homeless;accessible community hubs; andwork with those seeking refuge and asylum.For more information, please follow the link to visit their website.
