The League of Friends of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital provides support and cares for patients of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The Fundraising Team work tirelessly throughout the year organising events in order to raise much needed money for the hospital, and since the League of Friends was formed in 1966, gifts of in excess of £12.5 million have been donated to the hospital to provide much needed equipment and improve services. The League of Friends also have four cafes / shops in the hospital, which are mainly staffed by willing volunteers.
