Nantwich and Market Drayton Railway Society was established on 1 January 1992, as the Market Drayton Railway Preservation Society, with the aim of trying to restore part or all of the former Nantwich to Market Drayton Railway as far north as Cox Bank on the outskirts of Audlem, about 4 miles of track. The Society no longer holds monthly meetings, but there is still a wealth of information on their website, and for continue interest they still have a closed Facebook group which new members are welcome to join.
