Membership of Shropshire Libraries is free if you live, work or study in Shrophsire. You can join online and will immediately be able to use many of the e-library services, including e-Books and e-Audio, e-Magazines and e-Newspapers. You’ll also be able to place requests via the online library catalogue. You are eligible for concessionary membership if you would describe yourself as having any of the following:a physical disabilitya learning difficultyanother disability / needdyslexiaor if you are:a carera Skills for Life student (over 18)houseboundBenefits of concessionary membership:There is no charge to reserve books or talking books which are available in Shropshire.Loans are for three weeks, but you can renew items.There is no charge for items returned late, but you may be asked to return any overdue items before borrowing anything else.How to apply for concessionary membership:If you are already a member of Shropshire Libraries and think you may be eligible, please contact us with your membership number. This is on your card and starts ‘DD’. Alternatively, ask at your local Shropshire Libraries branch.
