We are a village school with a strong community network, we also have close links with RAF Cosford where many of our children are from. At Albrighton Primary School, our motto ‘Only our best will do!’ is our mantra for all aspects of school life and underpins the way we work. The Primary and Nursery School are very lucky to be situated in an idyllic setting in the village of Albrighton near Wolverhampton, our grounds are extensive, providing opportunities for a variety of play and sports activities, we have a forest school which all pupil access during the year and an outdoor swimming pool. We are in the unique position of being able to offer child care/educational provision from toddlers to Year 6. We manage our own wrap around care, with early opening designed to support working parents. Our Nursery is a happy nurturing environment where the individuality and uniqueness of every child matters. The children at the heart of everything we do. We believe in learning through play, authentic resources and loose parts, which encourage creativity, imagination, and those ever-important skills for life. As the Nursery is led and managed by the primary school, children also have the opportunity to access a wide range of resources. This includes the vast school grounds, forest school, pond and playground equipment. We have extensive space indoors and outdoors with a strong ethos of free flow learning between these. Zoom Club operates a breakfast and after school club on a daily basis, during term time only. Breakfast club runs from 7.30am to 8.45am and after school club runs from 3:20pm until 5:45pm. Children must be registered with Zoom Club prior to them attending a session. Sessions are booked on a monthly basis for the following month.
