We have been established for nearly 30 years now. We are set in the grounds of Ludlow Primary School and have fantastic links with all of the local feeder schools. We have 15 wonderful staff who have been at Chatterbox for most of the journey. They have current DBS certificates, Paediatric First Aid trained, Safeguarding training, Food and Hygiene. We have specialists who focus on SEND, Speech and language, Behaviour specialists. They have the highest degrees in Early Years and include level 3 and 4 practitioners.We look after children from birth to 5 in the Day Nursery, split into two room. Then we offer wrap around all year around. For children from 5-12 yrs of age. We have our own garden area and use of the schools out door area too.Local offer for families of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND): We have a specialist 1-2-1 teacher who can work with up to two children in any given academic year. Our setting offers an inclusive approach, through all age ranges. We offer a sensory room as a calming safe space for our children. We also have access to a quiet classroom for periods of intensive learning and experiences for our SEND child.With adult support our SEND children are guided in the mainstream classrooms for short periods of time, or for as long as they are comfortable.We have close connections with all the neighbouring agencies in the local authority to provide the best support and to start to achieve.
