The Long Mynd Soaring Association is a friendly group that meets up on the Long Mynd to fly model gliders. It was formed in 1997 to enable the model gliderfliers that used the Long Mynd to have a common voice when liaising with the National Trust, and membership is open to everyone who flies model gliders from the Long Mynd, and is a member of the British Model Flying Association (BMFA).
