Deerstalkers of Welshpool is the only Sherlock Holmes Society in Wales. The Deerstalkers meet at irregular intervals, and the society is open to all enthusiasts of Sherlock Holmes, as well as those with an interest in crime stories. The society has a large library of books, cds, dvds, audio and video cassettes, maps of Victorian London, programmes, leaflets and other items of Sherlockiana which may be borrowed free of charge, by its members.
