The Darwinian Knights Chess Club is a friendly and welcoming club for new and experienced chess players. The Club has a dedicated group of experienced players who have played in the Shropshire Chess League for many years, and who are ready, willing and able to integrate all levels of players, along with teaching new players how to play. Sessions take place in two private rooms within the Unison Social Club each Tuesday evening from 7pm to 11pm, and beginners are most welcome as free tuition is available if required. The Club plays in the Shropshire Chess League, and has an active junior section as well as an adult section.
