The aim of the Shropshire Postcard Club is to discuss and illustrate the collecting of Edwardian postcards. The club also aims to widen the knowledge and historical connections of such cards, especially those featuring local events and personalities The club is open to all those who are interested in the history and collection of old postcards, and there is no membership subscription, just a small charge, currently £2, for attending an event. Meetings are held at Bayston Hill Memorial Hall each month with the exception of January and August, starting at 7.30pm in spring and summer, and at 2.30pm during the autumn and winter. Meetings include talks, discussions, displays and slide presentations by members and invited speakers.
