Llangynog Bowling Club in the Tanat Valley offers crown green bowling for players of all ages and varying standards, with players currently aged between 16 and 90 years. The Club operates teams in the second (Tuesday), fourth (Wednesday) and sixth (Thursday) divisions of the Oswestry League, plus two teams in the Oswestry Veterans League on Friday afternoons. In addition we have members who also use the club facilities for Cup competitions and social games. The gentle exercise provided by bowing is ideal to loosen up joints or flex under-used muscles, and even if you do not wish to play, games are open to spectators on three evenings and one afternoon each week.
