Founded in 1980, Clwyd Family History Society encourages the study of genealogy and family history in North-East Wales and has a membership of more than 1400 worldwide. It runs a spacious research centre offering facilities which are available to members only, but non-members can join the Society ‘at the door’. The Centre’s opening hours are: Tuesday – 10am to 6pm Thursday – 10am to 4pm Saturday – 10am to 2pm The Society’s journal is published four times a year.
