Oswestry Family and Local History Group are approved volunteers, formed and hosted by Oswestry Library. They are interested in family history and the local history of Oswestry and the neighbouring Shropshire/Welsh border region. They hold advice sessions in family and local history on Monday mornings from 10am to 12noon and on Friday afternoons from 1.30pm to 4pm. These sessions are manned by volunteers on a rota basis. Members of the public are welcome to bring their queries along and the team will help them search the library’s sources and the internet for relevant information.
