Oswestry Family and Local History Group are approved volunteers, formed and hosted by Oswestry Library. They are interested in family history and the local history of Oswestry and the neighbouring Shropshire / Welsh border region. The Group provides volunteers to man family and local history advice sessions each Monday morning, from 10am to 12noon, and each Friday afternoon, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Members of the public are welcome to bring their queries along and the team will help them search the Library’s sources and the internet for relevant information.
