This includes manufacturing, supermarkets, independents, wholesalers, distribution, sales and all support functions. Financial Support FINANCIAL GRANTS If you have worked in the grocery industry consistently for the past six months, you may be eligible for a non-repayable grant. BREAST CANCER GRANT Financial, emotional and practical support is available for grocery colleagues or their partner/spouse who has received a breast cancer diagnosis in the last 12 months. CARERS GRANT If you care for a family member, including children, or are cared for by someone else, you could be eligible for financial support. SCHOOL ESSENTIALS GRANT If you’re eligible, you may receive £150 per school-age child, for up to three children in your household. Emotional Guidance & Advice HELPLINE The Helpline is completely free and confidential. Your employer will not know you have called. It’s available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 08088 021122 and speak to a BACP trained counsellor immediately. COUNSELLING SUPPORT Counselling sessions are available to support you with relationships, family issues, children and young people, individual or sex therapy. WORKPLACE SUPPORT If you are feeling overwhelmed in your job, or there has been a critical incident at work, they can support you.
