Our Preschool has been established for over 30 years, and is run as a not-for-profit business by a team of highly experienced and qualified staff with the support of Holy Trinity Church. Our ethos, qualifications and experience create an environment where we can encourage what is important to you and your child through day care and sessional care. As a team we recognise the huge and sometimes challenging role parents/carers have and wish to support all families in any way we can.We wish for children to feel happy, confident and secure, to be sociable, kind and caring to others, to be independent with a clear sense of right and wrong, be eager to learn and have lots of fun.We are proud to be situated in the Belle Vue and Coleham area where the sense of community is forever growing and we are keen to be a part of it and for the children to feel a strong sense of community and belonging. We accept all types of funded hours, term time only.Local offer: At Holy Trinity Preschool we welcome all children and endeavour to ensure that appropriate provision is made to cater for their needs, providing an ‘enabling’ environment. All children with SEND play a full part in the daily life of the settings and are encouraged to join in all activities. The entrance is ramped, and wheelchair users can access the main classrooms and toilet for the disabled. Parents will always be kept informed of any additional or different provision being given and invited to contribute to and attend any review meetings about their child. Children who make slower progress will be given carefully differentiated learning opportunities to help them progress with regular and frequent careful monitoring of their progress, which will involve the parents/carers and children in working in partnership with the setting. All children will receive a broad and balanced curriculum, relevant to the needs of the individual. Access to the curriculum is therefore facilitated by whatever means necessary to ensure that success is achieved. We aim to recognise strengths as well as weaknesses and try to involve all children in the activities of the setting. We endeavour to give an appropriate, enriched programme to extend the more able and gifted children in our care. Early identification, assessment and intervention are recognised as the key to meeting the needs of the individual children.Cost: £5.50 per hour. £33 per day. £4 for Forest School session, once a week in the summer and autumn term.Ofsted Reference 224115Ofsted Report Outcome Outstanding (12/11/2019)Registered For Nursery Grant Yes Max Places 24Ages approved for: 2 years – 4 yearsFacilities Crafts, Indoor Play Area, Ramps, Wheelchair Access, Religious/Cultural Provision, Music and Dance, Downstairs Toilet, Pets, Healthy Eating, Visits/Outings, Outdoor Play Area, Garden, Playroom.Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/holytrinityplaygroupshrewsbury/ We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
