Hospice UK’s Dying Matters campaign aims to create an open culture in which everyone is comfortable talking about death. Talking about death, dying and bereavement can be difficult. It can feel awkward or uncomfortable, and sometimes people just don’t know what to say. The Dying Matters campaign mission is to change this by breaking the stigma, challenging preconceptions and normalising public openness around dying, and they are working with the public, the health system, and partners from across the cultural, arts, education and faith sectors to achieve this.
