The Lyneal Trust is a small charity, managed and operated by a group of dedicated trustees and volunteers with a common purpose – to provide canal-based recreation and holidays for people with disabilities, illnesses or vulnerabilities, and their families and carers. They are based at Lyneal in North Shropshire, at the side of the Llangollen canal. The Lyneal Trust can offer day trips, or full week holidays to accommodate most requirements for those important breaks. Their canal boats, as well as the cottages, are well suited to cater for the disabled or elderly, as well as their carers, to provide a lovely holiday or day out in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
