All schools for primary age children 5 – 10 years provide a broad and balanced range of lessons, in line with the Government’s requirements. All children from Year 1 to Year 6 study the National Curriculum core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. They also study Information and Communications Technology, Design and Technology, Geography, History, Art, Music, Physical Education and Religious Education. Children in the Reception Class follow a Foundation curriculum of six Early Learning Goals, including communication, language and literacy; mathematical development; knowledge and understanding of the world; personal, social and emotional development; physical development and creative development.
